IPI engages crucial stakeholders on electoral matters

On 17th July, 2025 the Institute for Policy Interaction (IPI) held a High Level Dialogue in Lilongwe where it challenged youths to prevent electoral violence and promote peaceful coexistence during the forthcoming general elections. IPI utilizes sport and comedy to popularize electoral issues

The Institute for Policy Interaction continues reaching out to all Malawians through a number of activities on electoral matters.
Today, Institute for Policy Interaction Malawi held a football match between Chiradzulu Academy and Mapanga at Nguludi Ground.
Among other things, the people were sensitized on changes in electoral laws as well speaking against violence and the need to vote.
Comedians Chinganingani and Sasoka were nothing short of the engagement.
IPI Project Officer Praise Mwenegamba challenged people in the area to cast votes this September.
He stressed the need for youths to partake in national issues including voting.
The activity is part of the ongoing Malawi Electoral Support Project (MESP) with the funding from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
