The Institute for Policy Interaction (IPI) continued with its voter registration mobilization campaign in various parts of Blantyre, including Mdeka, Chilaweni, Mombo, and Limbe.
The campaign, aimed at encouraging eligible voters to register for the upcoming elections, witnessed and is still witnessing massive engagement from local communities.

Massive Turnout
The campaign saw an impressive turnout, with hundreds of people gathering at each location. Attendees, including youth and women, demonstrated their eagerness to participate in the democratic process.

Community Engagement
Local leaders and representatives took center stage during the events, addressing the importance of voter participation in shaping Malawi’s future.

Entertainment and Sports
Beyond speeches, the initiative incorporated sports and entertainment to attract more participants. Local football teams from Mombo, Chilaweni and Mdeka were acknowledged and celebrated on stage, fostering a sense of unity and community spirit.
